ORKAN Insecticide AG contains an active ingredient with a mode of action classified as a Group 28 insecticide—ryanodine receptor modulators. Any insect population may contain individuals naturally resistant to ORKAN Insecticide and other Group 28 insecticides. Tetraniliprole is an insecticide from the anthranilamide class of compounds. As a diamide chemical, it is active by ingestion. It interferes with the ryanodine-sensitive calcium release channels, which lead to loss of muscle control and subsequent insect immobility.
